Acupuncture

“My religion is kindness.”
The Dalai Lama

Acupuncture and acupressure are widely used for many, many conditions.  They are excellent for pain relief, as well as more chronic issues, and are excellent at managing symptoms associated with Lyme disease, as well as mold and mycotoxin exposure.  The techniques we use are based on 2,000 year old Classical Chinese medicine, one of the most ancient traditions of medicine today.

Drawing from a multitude of traditions, the types of acupuncture Dr. Yezman uses include:

  • Classical Chinese medicine system
  • Five element
  • Japanese style
  • Ear homunculus
  • Scalp homunculus

The type of acupuncture used on each patient changes based on what is best for their individual needs, and what that person is comfortable with.  The typical Chinese style is good for those who enjoy acupuncture, and derive great benefits from deeper needling.  The Japanese style is good for those who don’t like needles, in fact needles aren’t always necessary, instead a blunt metal object is used to tap along the channel or on certain parts of the body.  Each style of acupuncture can be as effective as the other, depending on the needs of the patient.  We accommodate every sensitivity.
